A girl. An X-Men. A warrior and survivor. Marie had been through it all before she was even legally an adult. Runaway and student, lover and loved. In the end, she had to end up with nothing to get it all. Now she has a beautiful home, a few dozen precocious wards, a cellphone fetching poodle and a horse named Pony. And she has a love who loves her right back - Cain Marko. The Juggernaut. This love that has cost her an adopted Father and yet given her a precious gift. Life may not be perfect, but some days this is as close as it's ever going to get.
